Release date and pre-load

GTA VI launches worldwide on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-loading begins on November 12, so digital buyers can download the full game a week early and be ready the second it unlocks. If you are buying a physical box, that box contains a download code, not a disc — Rockstar confirmed this — so redeem your code on November 12 and pre-load just like digital buyers.
